Jim Brown was a legendary American football player who played for the Cleveland Browns of the National Football League (NFL) from 1957 to 1965. He is widely considered to be the greatest running back of all time, and is one of the most celebrated athletes in American history.

He was one of the first black athletes to speak out against racism, and he was a member of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP).
